GpuPicker

Answers "what is under this screen point" from the rendered frame rather than from physics: a pass draws every mesh's id instead of its colour, and the pixel asked about is read back. No collider is needed, and the answer is per pixel - an instanced flock, a procedural model, a skinned character, all pickable. The answer arrives two frames after the request.

GpuPickerExtensions

Adds GPU picking to a game.

GpuPickingRenderFeature

The mesh feature's half of GPU picking: gives every mesh drawn in the picking stage the id its pixels write, and remembers which ModelComponent each id stands for so a pixel read back later can be turned into an entity again.

GpuPickingSceneRenderer

The compositor's half of GPU picking: on a frame with a request, draws the picking stage from the main camera into a hidden target, scissored to the one pixel asked about, copies that pixel into a staging texture and reads it back two frames later, when the GPU has long finished with it, so the answer never stalls the frame.

PickResult

What a GpuPicker found under a screen point: nothing, or a mesh and where on it.
